A late registration on the 2015 GAIN Sports Bus Tour and focused WR through his junior season, Alex showcased explosive ability on film and as explained to him on the tour, “why join the many others lining up at wide receiver when you have an opportunity to be the best safety on the field.” Alex quickly caught on with schemes / concepts and was an interception machine during the University of Maryland 7v7 Tournament earning the attention of Coach Darrell Perkins (Maryland’s DB Coach at the time) whom spent the entire day following our team and Alex specifically. Alex chose to forgo a walk-on at UCF to attend Navy Prep for a year following high school and at the beginning of the 2017-2018 academic year elected to join the University of Central Florida football team where he quickly rose from the 9th safety on the depth chart to the 5th safety listed on the depth chart.
