A native of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada while attending Lake Forest Academy in Illinois, Dejon competed on the inaugural 2014 GAIN Sports Bus Tour where he quickly flashed the skill of a high level receiver. Beyond skill, Dejon demonstrated to us he had an “IT” factor. Despite several great performances on the tour, Dejon was overlooked by FBS programs due to what was described as speed and acceleration concerns. Dejon is a perfect, shining example it goes beyond what is on surface when projecting an athlete’s ability to adapt and succeed. Dejon signed with the University of Richmond (FCS) earning playing time as a true freshman and through the mid-point of his junior season, Dejon is currently ranked second in total receiving yards in FCS!
